Clearance Coordinator

We are looking for a Clearance Coordinator to join our team. The Clearance Coordinator will provide day-to-day support focused on clearance and risk management, including workflows and processes in connection with content and rights clearance and other risk-related work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain, improve, and manage clearance requests, reports, system(s), and workflows, including internal database/project management software for all clearance requests (related to contract, content, rights, etc.), including related materials, releases, digital document signing, and digital document filing.
  • Identify, send, follow-up, and track clearance requests with internal and external parties.
  • Review and resolve clearance requests, implement policies set by Business and Legal Affairs (BALA), and escalate/assign to team members of BALA, as needed.
  • Support business and legal affairs and legal operations, including building and implementing policies related to clearance, risk management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare, submit, and present reports, conduct research, and analyze data-related risk management, including but not limited to content and rights clearance.
  • Identify, research, propose, and implement best practices on streamlining clearance and risk management processes.
  • Communicate, train, and align with internal stakeholders on clearance and risk mitigation strategy/resolution workflows, processes, and materials
  • Develop and implement a training program with the objective of empowering internal clients on clearance and risk management.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in advanced technology as a means of problem-solving.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong emotional, social, and cultural intelligence
  • Ability to build relationships in a professional and inclusive manner.
  • A growth and open mindset
  • Drive to think creatively and proactively on strategy, workflow, risk, and problem-solving.
  • Takes initiative, skilled in prioritizing and managing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using contract/project management software (e.g., DocuSign, Airtable, etc.) preferred
