Legal Assistant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Track, file, and process agreements and related intake/requests through project, contract, and electronic signature platforms (e.g., Airtable, DocuSign, etc.).
  • Input data in rights/request management systems, take detailed notes, organize and prepare files/records.
  • Draft, proofread/review documents, communications, and agreements, as needed.
  • Maintain, build, and improve formatting and accessibility of templates (contracts, legal and other documents, reports, etc.) for electronic signature process, and AI-auto-tagging/metadata extraction, etc.
  • Prepare, submit, and present reports, decks, documents, conduct research, and analyze data, as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and be a point of contact for external parties, as needed.
  • Identify and help develop and implement data-driven strategies to streamline workflow.
  • Assist day-to-day business and legal affairs and legal operations, including developing and executing special projects, as assigned/needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS, 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Experience using contract/project management software (e.g., DocuSign, Airtable, or comparable, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, writing, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Strong emotional, social, and cultural intelligence
  • Ability to build relationships in a professional and inclusive manner
  • A growth and open mindset
  • Drive to think creatively and proactively on strategy, workflow, risk, and problem-solving
  • Spanish proficiency preferred
