Social Media Video Production Intern (Spanish Language Required)

We are looking for an exceptional Spanish-speaking film/video production student who knows how to set a good story in motion. This unique opportunity offers the chance to work closely with the Latin American Marketing, Advertising, and Content teams. You will develop and execute social-first ideas that resonate and engage a Latin American audience across multiple digital channels. This role straddles concept development, (including light copywriting) and production—requiring rapid creative ideation in a fast-paced, international environment. The right candidate also has a passion for introducing WEBTOON’s characters and stories to new audiences in Latin America. In return, you will be working exclusively on TikTok content for the WEBTOON Latina America team and your work will be seen by millions of comic fans worldwide.
 
REQUIRED: You must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please submit a quick video IN SPANISH detailing why you are a good fit for this role along with a portfolio/ TikTok profile or reel exhibiting video editing/motion design work.
 
What You’ll Do
  • Work with the Art Directors and the social team to make TikTok videos for social to drive readers to WEBTOON Latin America.
  • Use your superior video editing and directorial skills to raise the bar on video work at WEBTOON.
  • Elevate WEBTOON’s characters and series by creating breakthrough visual treatments that are culturally relevant, on-trend, and resonate with target audiences.
  • Understand digital ad products and placements and make channel-specific visuals that embody best practices for each platform.
  • Stay on top of regional industry/advertising trends, as well as WEBTOON fan culture.
  • Work with the Project Manager so that deliverables and deadlines are met within budget.
Who You Are
  • Be fluent speaking and writing in Spanish.
  • You are a Film/Video Production student looking to break into the entertainment, advertising, technology, media, publishing, or gaming industries.
  • Comfortable with light copywriting, brand building with a TikTok following that demonstrates exceptional ability to transform your ideas into compelling, narrative storytelling.
  • Comfortable in front of a camera and doing voice overs.
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and wear many hats as necessary to help your teammates.
  • You have experience with video editing and prepping for video shoots.
  • You know TikTok in and out, Premiere Pro, and can dip your toes in After Effects if necessary.
  • A team player who strives to design to engage and delight our WEBTOON readers from the heart—not the ego.
